Jakes is located in the heart of downtown Bloomington, just blocks away from the Indiana University campus. Jakes specializes in live music, dance, and a host of special events, from country karaoke, to trip giveaways, to theme parties.

Jakes is also host to both national and local music acts. We have been home to acts such as Jens Lekman, The Dirtbombs, Modest Mouse, Dierks Bentley, The Wreckers, Heartless Bastards, and our calendar of monthly events.
